The Islamic State claimed responsibility of the Paris attacks that killed at least 127 people on Friday night.

The group released a statement on Saturday, saying eight members “wrapped in explosive belts and armed with machine rifles” targeted Parisian sites.

The statement was released shortly after French president Francois Holland blamed the Islamic State during an address to the nation.
