A federal judge today ordered a Kentucky county clerk to jail after she refused to issue marriage licenses because her religion opposes same-sex unions.

U.S. District Judge David Bunning found Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis in contempt of court and said she would be jailed until she complied with his order to issue the licenses.
