Celebration for Children’s Rights
First Star’s sixth annual Celebration for Children’s Rights will take place on May 30, 2009 and honors humanitarians and visionaries who are devoted to helping children, and to support First Star’s legislative, public awareness and professional education programs to help abused and neglected kids across the country.
The evening’s theme is “Come Be a Kid Again”. Jeans and tennis shoes are encouraged at one of the most unique events held in Los Angeles. The evening includes live entertainment, adult-sized kid activities, and catering by LA’s fines!
Our 2008 Honorees included Ryan Kavanaugh, CEO of Relativity Media, LLC, Peter Levinsohn, President of Fox Interactive Media and Stephanie Sperber, Executive Vice President of Universal Studios Partnerships Group. Our 2008 honorees were recognized for their humanitarian efforts on behalf of children. We are working hard on our 2009 roster.
