Honorary Hollywood "Mayor" Johnny Grant Dies at 84 |

Johnny Grant, a tireless show business figure dubbed the
"honorary mayor of Hollywood"
for his devotion to the historic movie industry hub, died on Wednesday, the Los
Angeles Police Department said. He was 84. Grant
was perhaps best known for introducing celebrities when they got their stars on
the Hollywood Walk of Fame. But he also made 60 overseas trips to entertain U.S. troops with the USO, and recently returned
from a mission to Guantanamo
Bay.

Spears Family: Dr. Phil Crossed Line by Talking About Britney Visit |

 NEW YORK — Britney Spears'
family says "Dr. Phil" McGraw crossed the line by not keeping his
mouth shut after making a house call on the singer last week. Lou Taylor, a business manager for Spears'
mother, Lynne, and younger sister, Jamie Lynn, appeared on NBC's
"Today" show Wednesday and said McGraw had betrayed the family's
trust by talking to the media about Spears' mental health after showing up at
the 26-year-old pop star's hospital room on Saturday for a visit.

"American Idol" judge Paula Abdul
"had an insane nervous breakdown" at Los Angeles International Airport over the
holidays, according to a report on radaronline.com. A tipster who saw her in the Continental Airlines terminal
told the site: "She had an insane nervous breakdown that lasted 10 minutes.

Golf Channel Anchor Suspended for Tiger Woods 'Lynch' Comment |

HONOLULU — Golf Channel
suspended anchor Kelly Tilghman for two weeks on Wednesday for saying last week
that young players who wanted to challenge Tiger Woods should "lynch him
in a back alley." Tilghman was laughing
during the exchange Friday with analyst Nick Faldo at the Mercedes-Benz
Championship, and Woods' agent at IMG said he didn't think there was any ill
intent.
